For the fifth time „Open Books„ brings contemporary literature to Frankfurt. During the annual „Frankfurt Book Fair„ the reading festival organized by the Kulturamt Frankfurt presents a huge number of authors reading their latest publishings all over the city.
Starting from Tuesday, 13th until Saturday 17th October a daily changing program with more than 60 participants and books invites locals and guests to listen to the most influential contemporary German writers, among them, Katharina Hacker (German Book Prize 2006), Ulrich Peltzer (Heinrich-Böll-Prize 2011), Verena Lueken (F.A.Z), Harald Martenstein (ZEITmagazin) and Jenny Erpenbeck.
