Last Saturday the great Gala of Frankfurt STYLE AWARD 2015 took place at the Airport Forum Frankfurt. Of course, SUPERIOR MAGAZINE Frankfurt was among the 400 invited international guests from politics, economics and fashion trade, when the finalists presented their looks for this years´award.
In the end the young German design talent from the „Trier School of Applied science in Rüsselsheim, Anastasia Liebe, was premiered as the „Outstanding Talent 2015“ for her design „Prisma“. She is now officially the ambassadress for the Frankfurt Style Award and of course she is looking forward to an exciting year. On September 13th Liebe will travel to the „Texworld & ApparelSourcing“ in Paris and present her design. In Oktober a journey to Italy will follow, where she is invited to the Hessian gala at the Expo Milan. There will be also presented a defilé of the Frankfurt STYLE AWARD´s 2015 Pioneering Destiny collection including the looks of about 40 designers.
But the prize for the „Outstanding Talent“ wasn´t the only one announced at this evening. Altogether 12 winners were awarded among them the prizes for this years´categories „Blue Revolution“, „ECOlogical Green“ and „Over the Rainbow“. Besides Anna Lonnes from the Fashion Design Institute Düsseldorf, also the Israelian talent Simon Marom from the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv and the Spanish designer Evelina Martirosyan from the FDModa LCI Barcelona where honored with a cash prize worth 1.500 Euro each and special „Once-in-a-Lifetime“-journeys to selected destinations all over the globe, e.g. a „Fashion-Safari“ to the Senegal, a „Destination Fashion Trip“ to China and a luxury journay to the fashion hotspots of the Rhine-Main region sponsored by the Schlosshotel Kronberg. Moreover the winners of the second and third prizes were awarded with cash prizes as well and material prizes from the many contributors like Dubai Tourism, Starwood Hotels & Ressorts, De’Longhi und Mattioli Jewelry.
The patron of the Frankfurt STYLE AWARD, Markus Frank, Economics Affair Officer of Frankfurt and the main sponsor and host, the Fraport AG were impressed by the great step the award has taken since its beginning in 2008. This years´ guestland Italy presented its cultural diversity and provided a great selection of culinary delights. Vice-consul Francesca Facchini also claimed her fascination for the many young talents at the award show and therefore earned not only the applause of jury member in honor, Dominique Deroche but also of Pang Ying Hua, one of China´s most imortant designers and the other 400 guests.
