Inspired by the beauty of Eastern architecture and Western heritage
Wilson See truly believes in the responsibility of life. In the responsibility to give back what you took away and in the grace of charity.
After the successful start of Wils Fabrik’s wooden watches 2 years ago Wilson now launches his sustainable eyewear collection called ‘Slate Soul’. To begin with the production he started a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
Slate Soul sunglasses are made of two natural materials – wood and stone. Combining three layers of 1mm wood and slate, each pair of Slate Soul sunglasses is cut by German layering technology making the eyewear more durable, lightweight, elastic and long lasting. Also the lenses are German top quality, they come from Carl Zeiss.
But Wilson would not be the person he is if he wouldn’t combine his latest creation again with some charity. As he does with the sales of his watches, also for the eyewear he cooperates with World Bicycle Relief to donate bicycles to students in rural Africa.
We think, wearing great design and supporting people’s development in Africa is a great combination!
